Matthew is a dedicated Developmental Educator and Mental Health Practitioner, specialising in Autism, ADHD, and co-occurring mental health conditions. His work focuses on supporting neurodivergent individuals across their lifespan, empowering them to build self-determination, independence, and an improved quality of life.
Matthew’s advanced qualifications in Disability Practice and Mental Health Practice equip him with a deep understanding of the complex intersection between mental health and neurodivergence. He integrates innovative, research-informed strategies with a holistic, neurodiversity-affirming approach, creating inclusive and empowering therapeutic environments for his clients.
Using a strengths-based and person-centred approach, Matthew ensures that each client’s unique needs, preferences, and abilities are respected. His work emphasises emotional regulation, life-skill development, and advocacy, helping clients and their families navigate challenges while celebrating their strengths.
Matthew’s extensive experience spans both education and the NDIS, giving him an acute awareness of the importance of individualised, tailored support plans. His role as Lead Clinician and Director at Jardin Spectrum Assist (JSA) involves developing evidence-based programs, mentoring his team, and providing strategic direction to ensure high-quality service delivery. He is dedicated to ensuring that every neurodivergent individual is supported to thrive in their daily lives and reach their personal goals.

Interests:
In his personal time, Matthew enjoys baking and cooking for his family and friends, playing music and games (Xbox, PC, and board games), and following politics. He also enjoys spending time with his two cats and puppy and has a keen interest in reading and studying inter-war literature from the mid to late 1920s.
